Quince

There were quince fruit at the farm and I decided I'd like to try them. So I came home and James looked up quince on wikipedia. It said to add just a little to apple pie or apple sauce to enhance the flavor. I added half a quince to my apple pear pie and it turned out awesome! They smell very perfumy and taste gross raw, so they need to be cooked. In Spain, the spaniards call quince, pomodoro. They eat quince as a paste with cheese and crackers. I'm going to try to make a paste out of some of them. We shall see how that turns out!
