I'm happy the blanket turned out as well as it did, I came up with my own pattern and was very pleased with it. 
The baby is beautiful, she was born at home and my friend's husband delivered the baby while the midwives watched and guided him. The atmosphere in their home was serene and peaceful, definately a wonderful way to have a baby!
